American Family Care opened its first family care/urgent care clinic in Birmingham in 1982. Today there are 13 walk-in medical clinic facilities in the Birmingham area. Our network of family care/urgent care clinics provides medical services to patients needing attention for a wide variety of acute conditions, non-life threatening illnesses or injuries that primary care physicians may be unable to treat, and when an emergency room visit is not warranted. American Family Care is open seven days a week from 8:00am-6:00pm, no appointment necessary. We offer our patients "The Right Care. Right Now."
