AFC Goes Back to Where it all Started

HOOVER, al –JANUARY 18, 2010 – American Family Care first opened it

s’ doors in 1982 on Hwy 31 in Hoover, AL and since then has grown into 22 clinics statewide. When deciding on where its’ newest clinic should be located, AFC decided to go back where it all started from, Hoover, AL. The Hoover area has grown a lot over the past 28 years since AFC first opened, and with seeing the success of its original location, it seemed like the perfect place.

American Family Care celebrated its Grand Opening on October 11^th and welcomed its’ 22^nd clinic at The Grove in Hoover, AL. The Grand Opening was well attended with enthusiastic support from the Hoover Chamber and the surrounding community.

The clinic is located at the new Grove Shopping Center at exit 10, which is home to the largest Target in the US. The new shopping center provides a convenient and key location for the residents of Hoover in an area that is expanding everyday.

The clinic is open 7 days a week, 8:00 am-6:00 pm- with “No Appointment Necessary.”

The facility is designed, equipped, and staffed to provide comprehensive urgent care, family care, minor emergency treatment, and occupational medicine. It also has a high tech, high touch, digital x-ray, onsite lab, and EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
