AFC has relocated the Gardendale Clinic across from Wal-Mart
February 24, 2012
AFC has relocated its current Gardendale clinic located at 101 Payne Road to a 5,000 sq. ft. clinic located at 919 Odum Road, Gardendale, AL 35071. This clinic has an onsite pharmacy, U- Save Pharmacy, which will provide a convenient access to prescription medications. The clinic will open on Wednesday, February 29th. The Open House and Ribbon Cutting will be held on Thursday, March 1st at 11:00 am. There will be food, door prizes, and tours of the facility.
The clinic is designed, equipped, and staffed to provide comprehensive urgent care, family care, and occupational medicine. It has a high-tech, high touch, digital x-ray, onsite lab testing, state of the art diagnostics and EMR (Electronic Medical Records). The clinic is staffed by kind, caring and compassionate healthcare professionals. The hours of operation are 7 days a week from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm No Appointment Necessary. Our goal is to provide 100% Patient Satisfaction to our patients as it states in our campaign – “PS: It’s All About YOU!”
Currently, AFC has 13 clinics and 7 U-Save Pharmacies in the Birmingham Area. The pharmacies are open to the public and offer $5 and $10 prescription programs which cover hundreds of prescription drugs, including medicines for a wide variety of conditions and diagnoses. Most insurance and drug cards are accepted and will eliminate a second stop. “We could not have accomplished any of this without our outstanding employees here at AFC and of course we could never accomplish anything without you, our wonderful patients,” said D. Bruce Irwin, M.D., Founder and CEO of AFC. AFC’s dramatic growth rate in different markets can be attributed to a demand for health care from aging baby boomers and a nationwide decline in access to primary-care physicians.
