The Arthritis Foundation is calling on you to take action against the nation’s leading cause of disability by participating in the 2011 Birmingham Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis.  The 2011 Birmingham Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is Saturday, December 10th, at Underwood Park.
Arthritis is much more widespread than imagined, and it impacts every age. In Alabama alone, 1.2 million adults and approximately 5,000 children have a doctor-diagnosed form of this disease. The Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is an opportunity to join the cause and fight it. Eight-year-olds Delaney C. and Bryson R., this year’s junior honorees for the Birmingham event, are both faces of juvenile arthritis. Both were diagnosed at just two years of age. The Honorary Chair for this year’s event is Dr. D. Bruce Irwin, Founder and CEO of American Family Care. American Family Care is also the presenting partner in this year’s event. Online registration is available at  .
